Temporary Position as Preschool Teacher in Varberg Municipality

The preschools Hajvägen and Knarråsen are located in Träslövsläge. During weeks 28-32, holiday care for the preschools is coordinated for Team Sydväst, at Klapperstenen Preschool located in Breared. The temporary position includes work at a merged summer preschool but may also involve work at the preschools Hajvägen and/or Knarråsen in the weeks before and after.

Hajvägen and Knarråsen have space for about 50 children each, aged 1-5 years, and the educators work in teams and in various ways with the children in smaller groups throughout different parts of the day. Both preschools in Träslövsläge and Klapperstenen have creative environments both indoors and outdoors, with a local environment that provides opportunities for stimulating and developing outdoor activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The work involves both teaching and caring for children aged 1-5 years and takes place both indoors and outdoors. As staff, you are expected to support and stimulate children's development and learning based on the goals of the curriculum and to adapt teaching and learning environments to the children's conditions, needs, and interests. You also need to have good special educational insight and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you have a high school education, the Child and Leisure Program, or that you have started the Preschool Teacher Education.

• You have previous experience working in a preschool.
• You see opportunities rather than difficulties, have an inclusive approach, and find it natural to meet and challenge all children based on their abilities, interests, and needs.
• Experience in conducting teaching based on the preschool curriculum and working with children of all ages within the preschool is required, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language both orally and in writing.
• Drive, curiosity, the ability to collaborate with colleagues, and an inclusive approach are important skills.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

1-3 positions.

Employment according to Appendix D with a 30-minute notice period. Working hours may be scheduled Monday-Friday between 6:15 AM - 6:15 PM, and the number of hours per week will vary on different days and weeks during the employment period.

The employment period will be scheduled for different numbers of weeks as agreed during the period June 1 - August 15, or as agreed within that period, and may involve different degrees of service in different weeks. Please indicate which weeks you can work, but note that you need to be available for work for at least three or four of the weeks 28-32 to be considered for this temporary position.

Interviews will be held continuously during the advertising period. The positions will be filled provided that the planned need remains and that it does not need to be filled by surplus staff.

Varberg Municipality has a political decision regarding the desired employment rate. This means that the employee has the right to work full-time or the desired part-time.
